A Year in Review:

Goodbye 2019, HELLO 2020

It’s been quite the year for us here at Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co.! We are so grateful for our amazing customers and we can’t wait to spend 2020 with you all. Here’s a roundup of our favorite events that happened this past year.

We kicked off 2019 with a new delicious menu for you all to munch on! We aimed for our menu to be fresh and unique, which is why we showcase meals such as Chorizo Empanadas and Katsu Chicken Bao. With everything from flatbread pizzas to burgers to tacos, there’s sure to be an item that will effortlessly become your favorite.

Only the best of times for us New Englanders, we rang in February with yet another Patriots Super Bowl title. Showcasing the win on the big screens mixed with delicious eats and endless craft beer – it easily became a night to remember.

March marked a milestone for Cheeky Monkey! Our Brewer, Jason brewed his 100th batch of craft beer. 100 different batches of Cheeky Monkey brews ranged from our CMBC classics to limited edition specialty brews. With classics like Harambe’s Ghost to specialties such as Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout. Did you miss a couple in 2019? Check out our hashtag #WhatsOnTapWednesday on Instagram to catch up on all of our specialty brews.

Our beloved neighbors returned – the Red Sox kicked off the season opener with a bang. Our patio was open for the season and hit full swing with delicious bites and drinks to pregame the best time of year here on Lansdowne Street.

Our delicious Sour Patch Kehd gained a spot in our lineup of house craft beers. With an upfront taste of sour tartness and a nice raspberry finish, it truly embodies the cheeky spirit. It quickly became a house favorite and grand edition to our beer family.

Cheeky Monkey kicked off summer with the creation of an amazing collaboration with Boston favorite, Downeast Cider House. Aloha Saturday was truly one of a kind with pineapple infused cider aged in rum barrels and was specifically made for us here at Cheeky! It was definitely one of our favorites of summer.

WGBH continued the fun by introducing us into their very own beer festival. With an outdoor venue paired with live music and a variety of beers and ciders, it was a recipe for a successful summer outing.

We helped cool off this summer by starting August with a brand new summer cocktail menu. Both Instagram and taste bud friendly, our Popsicle’s in Paradise and Coconut Vibes cocktails easily became a highlight of the summer.

Cheeky Monkey turned 2! With a live DJ, specialty brews, and food specials, we surely had the best birthday of all. Thank you for celebrating with us!

Things got spooky and sweet with our Devil’s Carnival and Drink Pink events. With a live DJ and costume contest, we couldn’t have rang in this season any better. We also enjoyed #WhatsOnTapWednesday with a special guest, Pink Lady Sour Ale in honor of supporting Breast Cancer Awareness.

We got into the thankful spirit with the help of a new fall cocktail menu. Our Sugar Rush cocktail was beautifully served in a gumball machine which showcased the cheeky attitude with a side of sweets. We also added an amazing gin edition named Drops of Juniper as well as a Harvest Sangria for all of your fall drink needs!

Alast, the holiday season! Santa Con touched down in Boston with a bang here at Cheeky Monkey. Our specialty holiday cocktails including The Grinch Fish Bowl and Poinsettia Jell-O shots took the spotlight with a side of our loaded taco bar and boozy cotton candy. Blitzen’s Eggnog and our signature cocktail Santa’s Little Helper featuring raspberry sorbet, Prosecco and raspberry liquor made its debut at our annual holiday party which finalized our Christmas spirit!

We had a great year in 2019 and can’t wait to see what 2020 brings! To stay updated in all things Cheeky follow us on Instagram @cheekymnkybos .
